Where It All Started: My Story
In 2021, I was a burned-out high school teacher
juggling two young kids while feeling stuck in a low-paying teaching job — buried under endless grading and faculty meetings that could’ve been an email — I was exhausted. Both of my boys were preemies and constantly sick, which meant I was missing work week after week. By the middle of the school year, I had already run out of sick days. Missing time with my kids, constantly calling out, and knowing they were spending more of their days in daycare than with me — it broke my heart. I felt like I was missing the moments that mattered most. I knew something had to change… but I never imagined that picking up my phone and filming a few “silly little videos” would completely transform my life.
Then one day I stumbled upon a little app called Billo...
When I first discovered that brands were paying regular people for their content even without followers — it felt impossible. Why would anyone pay ME? I had no experience, no social media presence, and English wasn’t even my first language. I wasn’t confident, I wasn’t ready. In fact, I had ZERO clue what I was doing — but I started anyway. And that’s when everything changed.
My first month?
I made $45. Not exactly life-changing money. But something clicked—I loved the creative process, the flexibility, and the potential I could see ahead. I spent the next two years methodically building my skills, learning what brands actually wanted, and developing systems that worked for busy moms like me. Eventually, I hit my first $10K month, then consistently scaled beyond that.
The Teaching Moment:
Along the way, I started sharing my strategies and helping other women navigate the UGC world. I never set out to become a "UGC coach" because honestly, I didn't even know that was a thing. But it turns out, when you combine a decade of teaching experience with real-world UGC success, you find your calling.
Today
After working with 800+ brands including Microsoft, L'Oréal, and Dr. Squatch, and coaching 500+ students worldwide, I'm still incredibly passionate about this industry and excited to help as many women as possible build profitable, sustainable UGC businesses while maintaining their sanity and family priorities.
Some things you should know about me:
I don't sugarcoat anything
I tell my students like it is, even when it can be hard to hear —the good, the challenging, and the realistic timelines.
I am all about sustainability
No toxic hustle culture here. I am all about working smarter, not harder and getting the most out of your TIME, so you can spend with people that matter the most.
I still do UGC
I’m not just teaching theory — I still create content, negotiate contracts, and work with brands every week. I know the struggles because I’ve lived ( and still live ) through them.
It’s my belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a business that gives them freedom — not burnout.
You don’t need a following, fancy equipment, or endless free time to create a UGC business that actually works. I’ll show you how to start with what you have, build confidence on camera, and start landing paid brand deals — so you can create more flexibility, more income, and more time for what matters most ( and that's YOU and your loved ones ).
